Do Soulmates Exist?
A couple of years ago Hope gave me a book titled, "Mom, I want to hear your story." It's a workbook that essentially asks me questions about everything from my childhood to my current beliefs. I've been slowly working on it here and there. This week there was a question asking me if I believe in soulmates. And if so, why. Oh, yeah, there are some deep questions in this workbook, but it got me thinking and asking myself to consider what I do think about soulmates. Quite honest

Pause
I'm not even going to lie. This post is a braggy mom one. I simply can't help it. Hope, my oldest daughter, has created a short film for the Easter Seal's Disability Film Challenge again this year. You're probably wondering why in the world I'm thinking about such an old song. It just popped up on one of my Spotify lists. I get flashes of middle school dances in a gymna

What is a "Spring Break"
Everyone knows early March to mid-April is usually when academia schedules a break from studies, the one to two week period known as spring break. Some of us have college kids come home, while others have their k-12 school age kids home during the daytime hours. Years past at our house this might mean shopping trips for Easter dresses or maybe a few local day trips. With Brian working this didn't necessarily mean an out of town vacation, at least not for an entire week anyway
